The best of Provence

L'Isle sur la Sorgue

L'Isle sur la Sorgue, between the Luberon, Mont Ventoux and the Alpilles, is a wonderful Provencal tourist village located 20 km from Avignon and 6 km from the mysterious Fontaine de Vaucluse.

This island town and its many river canals have given it the nickname of "Venise Comtadine".

The town is also renowned for its paddlewheels, its market, its antique dealers, its second-hand goods dealers, its art galleries and its Nego-Chin fishermen.

There are many traditions, events and festivities to discover in every season.
